Walter Larrimore is a highly committed and professional photographer.  His strength is his versatility — communicating your message — listening and understanding your requirements, purpose, and audience — delivering results. A graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology he is an independent commercial and museum photographer specializing in photographing, People, Places, and Products.

Walter’s experience and qualifications are extensive. Comfortable and relaxed in both the studio and shooting on location, he possesses the exceptional ability to be creative even in demanding settings.  His wide range of assignments have included photographing – executives, celebrities and workers — factories, festivals and fireworks — crystal, chromatographs and candy — actors, architects and artisans.  Walter’s clientele are cross a section of national and regional, corporate, manufacturing, architectural, museum, publishing, and nonprofit charitable organizations.  His effective representational images have been published in numerous books, annual reports, museum and direct mail catalogs — magazines; editorial and advertising — marketing campaigns; print and web.

For the Smithsonian Institution’s Museums, Galleries and Cultural Centers he has photographed – artist, performers and researchers – exhibits, concerts and powwows – artifacts, works of art and scientific specimens – for book, catalog, database and web publications.
